Jackie Evancho has career aspirations. The 20-year-old singer went home on last week’s episode of The Masked Singer. She was the one behind the Kitty mask. There were many guess ranging from Kate Bosworth to Amanda Seyfried.
Everyone was shocked to learn that it was America’s Got Talent winner Jackie Evancho. She grew up a lot from her AGT days. Now, the singer shared her career aspirations. While her “heart sank” during her elimination, she feels positive about her future. And she already knows what she wants.

Entertainment Tonight’s Deidre Behar and Charlie O’Keefe spoke to the younger singer after her elimination from The Masked Singer, per Yahoo Entertainment. Evancho revealed that she wanted to compete on the singing competition to shed her young girl image. She wants to transform herself into a sexier and mature artist.
Evancho also wants a career similar to Lady Gaga or Kim Kardashian. As for the reason behind her choices, Evancho said she loves Kim’s entrepreneur spirit and Gaga’s creativity. She would also love to have the longevity that Gaga has had in her music career.

She’s even close to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. The blonde beauty admitted that she sang at Kim’s wedding to Kris Humphries back to 2011. Now, she wants to make music similar to Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey. But before she makes any music, she has to get through the quarantine. Evancho is currently staying at her home in Philadelphia with her parents, their new partners, siblings, stepsiblings, and a young transgender boy that her family invited to stay with them. It’s a full house.

Jackie Evancho also had an interview with Access. During the interview, she revealed that she would love to have a duet with Vanessa Hudgens. It turns out the singer is one of Evancho’s biggest inspirations. Some of the judges on the panel thought that the High School Musical alum was behind the Kitty mask. Evancho was flattered to be compared to the actress.
“She has such a talent and she is so strong and full of integrity,” Evancho said. “I was a fan of hers from when High School Musical. And then I loved her in Grease [Live!]. And I heard the story of her grandfather that passed away while she was performing, and she still pulled it together and did an amazing job.”

Then she was asked whether she was nervous when host Nick Cannon would recognize her from their time on America’s Got Talent. He previously hosted the long-running NBC competition. But when Evancho was revealed, she said that she had to “hold back tears.”
She was so upset to leave the show behind. Evancho was motivated to go on the series to reintroduce herself to the world. She found it hard to shake her 10-year-old image for many years. She gained back her confidence so she could forge her own path and “be sexy.
