As many people know, navigating a relationship and making it work is already a tough thing to do. However, when two famous people get together and have their romance in the tabloids, it can be even more difficult to navigate. This was exactly the case for Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough.
The American Idol host and professional dancer dated for three years, ending their relationship in 2013. They were both focusing on their careers at the time, and this is a lot to juggle, especially when you both have careers in the public eye. Hough has gotten married and divorced since her time with Ryan, and Seacrest often jokes about being single.
Seacrest Had Surprising Commentary About Julianne Hough In Her Wedding Dress
Unlike the average person, who can typically block their ex after a split and never see them again, when your ex is also famous, you are bound to run into them at some point. Back when Ryan Seacrest was hosting Live with his co-host, Kelly Ripa, pics of Julianne Hough in her wedding dress came up.
Hough married a former Canadian pro hockey player named Brooks Laich. The pair have since divorced. Even so, Ryan had some interesting things to say after seeing his famous ex in her wedding dress. Ryan said, “She looks stunning and there’s also a photo of her father, Bruce. I know this family and they are terrific people … super talented, she is, so congratulations, Julianne! Happy to see you happy.”
Ryan Seacrest And Julianne Hough Have Remained Friends Since Split
While things between Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough did not work out for the long haul, the pair have remained amicable since their split. Julianne Hough even went on Ryan’s radio show with her famous brother, Derek Hough. From that interview alone, it was obvious that they all still have a good relationship and that there is no bad blood.
Dishing on some of what happened in their relationship, Julianne previously told Dax Shepard on his podcast that she did not want anyone to think she was with Ryan to gain an advantage in the industry.

She said, “The rug was swept up from underneath me, and I was just flying, and I was experiencing things that I didn’t even know existed. But then I had this insecurity that I was like, ‘I don’t ever want anybody to think that I’m with him for this reason.’ And so I then started playing smaller.”
