Sean Diddy Combs’ Attorney’s Hit Back With Shocking Information

There has been a lot of media attention surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs and his upcoming criminal trial. Combs is on trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges and has pleaded not guilty. He also said that the civil lawsuits were “quick payday” attempts by his accusers. However, now his attorneys say the accusations are not what many people think they are.
Here is what Combs’s attorneys say is wrong with what people think is happening in the criminal case.
Diddy’s Attorneys Say Publicly ‘Charges’ Are Incorrect
If Combs is found guilty of sex trafficking, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison. If found guilty of racketeering, it could mean life in prison. The allegations include kidnapping, drugging, and coercing women into sexual activities, sometimes by using firearms or threatening them with violence (via BBC).
As for the racketeering charges, prosecutors claim he used “The Combs Enterprise” to operate the sex trafficking scheme. He also involved individuals and activities to affect interstate and foreign commerce (via FOX News).
However, when many media outlets have reported on Combs’s crimes, there have also been mentions of minors being involved in the sex trafficking allegations. Some of the civil lawsuits are from women who were minors when they said the incidents happened. There have also been allegations of sex tapes.
This has led Combs’s attorneys to say these two allegations are untrue. According to Sean “Diddy” Combs’s attorneys, prosecutors have no videotapes with celebrities from the alleged “Freak-Offs.” This came in an interview with Combs’s attorney Teny Geragos on the TMZ 2 Angry Men podcast.
What Diddy’s Attorneys Say About These ‘Fake’ Allegations
Geragos said that none of the tapes that the feds seized at Diddy’s houses had anything like that on them. Furthermore, the attorney also said that the allegations that there were minors involved in any of the Freak-Offs or on any of the tapes are also false.
The media has reported from almost the start that Combs was alleged to be transporting minors across state lines to take part in sex acts at the Freak-Offs. Teny said this is wrong and is not a part of the federal court case against the former record producer.
Teny also leveled an attack at Tony Buzbee, the Houston attorney who is representing over 100 people who claim that Diddy abused them over the years. She called him an ambulance chaser and said he even put his 1-800 number behind his podium during interviews to get more clients.
Teny also said that no one in Hollywood was speaking about Combs because Buzbee has them all scared he will come after them, too. She noted that Buzbee has openly threatened anyone from Hollywood who opposes him. She said there was at least one lawsuit alleging extortion from Buzbee. That is likely Jay-Z’s lawsuit. Buzbee’s case against Jay-Z was already withdrawn.
