Bravo Facing New Lawsuit Over Gary King
Bravo is facing a new lawsuit over Gary King that was on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. This lawsuit is coming from a former makeup artist that was on the show and is now suing Bravo. This makeup artist is suing the network and the reality star over an alleged sexual assault.
Samantha Suarez is speaking out and saying that Gary tried to get her to sleep with him. It allegedly happened when she was just simply taking him a snack and not there for anything sexual. She says that Gary was drunk and grabbed a hold of her arms when she tried to leave the hotel room after dropping off a snack she was told to take him.
Samantha Explains More Details
The makeup artist is going as far as to say she feared that she would be raped in this moment. She says that he slammed the door shut and blocked her way out. Nothing worse ended up happening and the makeup artist was able to get away from Gary King according to her reports.
She is reporting that another crew member called her. When she got this call, she was able to get him to stop and escape. This was possibly because he could tell that another person could hear what was going on at that time. She says that this was reported by her and another worker named Grey Duddleston and that King even admitted to it. She said that her and Grey were both later fired. King was not fired and was actually just investigated for “inappropriate use” of the walkie-talkie system. At this time, she is suing for sexual battery, hostile work environment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and more. She wants a big payment for the incident.
Gary King actually said that he was edited out of a season of the show. You have to wonder if this was the reason why or if something else happened.
