Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been behind bars since his indictment back in September. After announcing he’s given up on bail proposals, Diddy is expected to be staying at a Brooklyn detention center until his upcoming trial. However, recent reports claim that the mogul has endured a stark change in appearance during his time in custody.

One Reporter Compared How Diddy Looked To An Appearance He Made At Central Park Months Prior

Combs has been in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since September. While his legal team repeatedly attempted to have the mogul placed on house arrest, Diddy has given up on bail proposals after a third attempt was rejected by a judge.

This means that Diddy will likely remain in custody at the center until his upcoming trial in May. However, a recent claim has some worried about the toll life behind bars has taken on Combs.

An eyewitness recently claimed that the rapper and mogul has undergone a significant change in appearance during a recent court hearing. Notably, this took place after Diddy had been behind bars over a period of three months.

According to The U.S. Sun, Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner acknowledged the change in Combs’ appearance. As she shared, “[Combs] appeared just astonishingly thinner.”

The reporter also drew comparisons to an appearance Combs made at Central Park shortly before his indictment. At the time, he was noted to be playing hacky sack.

Former Inmates & Jail Employees Shed Some Light On Diddy’s Life At The Center

Millner noted that this is what could be expected “[from him being] inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now.” She noted that his current life is “a lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before.”

Millner noted that Combs “appeared very noticeably thinner,” as well as noting that his hair looked grayer. She also mused that, “Maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him.”

X user Ms. Smith also shared an illustration of Diddy at the recent hearing. As the caption noted, “Gosh Diddy looking frail and aging, grey headed .. Prison not his cup of tea…..”

As Page Six noted, it’s believed that Diddy isn’t given any special treatment at the center in spite of his wealth and status. Outside of holiday meals, food is generally said to be basic. As the publication noted, Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo claimed that food was the “roughest part” of his client’s stay behind bars, noting he’s used to gourmet chefs.

As previously reported, Diddy is expected to spend Christmas at the center. His Christmas lunch will include a Cornish hen with macaroni and cheese.

At the time, many source suggested Diddy was getting along relatively well at the center. As noted by People, a jail employee noted Comb was “doing fine.” However, it was also noted, “Nobody wants to be here.”

According to the publication, one former inmate shared “[Combs is] well-liked inside prison.” They also claimed, “People are getting along with him.” It was also noted that Diddy has enjoyed free time with other inmates, often playing cards or basketball.
