The Price Is Right insider recently revealed “tips and tricks” of how to win the show. While some games are more difficult than others, the source knows some secrets. They share how to cheat the system to rake in more cash.

Undoubtedly, The Price Is Right is a great game show that is fun for many ages to watch and play. It’s had its daytime slot for more than four and a half decades. While the iconic host, Bob Barker had the lion’s share of the years hosting, Drew Carey has carried the torch for the past 10 years. Part of the charm of the game is the aspect of “luck” intertwined in the different games. However, an insider has cracked the code for fans to beef up their skills of getting on stage and winning the prizes.

Recently, an insider let fans know that producers are always watching. The Price Is Right model, James O’Halloran, reveals how to get on stage. He claims, “The best way to be called on is to be super energetic.” Furthermore, he adds, “Just get very excited and into the present with what’s going on. While the show is happening, the producers are watching for who is engaged. If you’re playing along with the people who are up there, if you’re enthusiastic, they go, ‘Hey, we’ve got a live one here.’” James joined The Price Is Right in 2014.

At that time, the show had its first male model search competition and James was extremely excited to win. With ten years of experience on the show, he has seen plenty of rhythms from contestants. He continues to spill the details. He says, “There’s definitely a lot of hacks and tricks to a lot of the games. And if you’re paying attention, there’s a lot of patterns.”
The Price Is Right Host, Drew Carey, Is The Real Ticket
He also revealed that Drew Carey has a few tells that will help players win the game. James has spilled how fans can win more if they pay attention. One thing he mentions is to “keep an eye on Drew.” James shares, “He won’t tell you the answers, but he wants you to win.” One of Drew’s favorite things about the show is they pick everyday people to play the games.
The model hints, “If you’re way off, he might go, ‘Could you repeat that?’ Just to give you another chance to maybe switch up your answer.” Further giving Drew kudos, James adds, “Pay attention to Drew and the audience. He’ll help you as much as he can get away with.” Additionally, he credits Drew, “You’ve never met a more generous guy. There was a guy spending his time cleaning the stars on Hollywood Boulevard and he said, ‘The only guy who ever approached me was Drew Carey.’” Then, he says he “gave him 100 bucks.”
Listen To The Fans
Not only that, but The Price Is Right model, James O’Halloran encourages people to listen to the “fanatical viewers” in the audience. If someone makes it on stage and doesn’t feel like they know what they are doing, James touts the audience usually does. Adding, “If you have no idea what’s going on, it is worth listening to them. A lot of these games are not up to chance. It’s the same answer every time, and they’re trying to tell you that.”
Although some games on The Price Is Right are harder than others, James O’Halloran has witnessed enough to make suggestions for players. He says, “If you’ve watched that game just one other time before, you can do the same answers and you’re going to win. The best way to learn those is to watch the show. Keep an eye out. Look for the patterns. It’s not a coincidence.”
