What do we know about this new Hallmark rom-com? According to the When Love Springs synopsis, Rory Richards (Rhiannon Fish, A Picture of Her, Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths) is in public relations.
She is currently a junior executive. However, she has her eyes on the prize. She sees a big promotion in her future and she is determined to get it. Rory has worked hard and is reaching for her dreams.
However, now she is taking a break. She is going to spend some quality time in Lilac Lake, at an adorable B&B. This is a romantic trip. Her parents are renewing their vows here, where they first met. Therefore, Rory is there along with her sister.
There, she runs into Jason (Callan Colley, Dark Noise, The Letdown). Jason is Rory’s ex-boyfriend. This guy destroyed her heart.
Now, Rory has to think quickly! She grabs Noah (James O’Halloran, Beverly Hills Broke, Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story Of INXS), the future owner of the B&B, and introduces him as her boyfriend.
Although this is certainly surprising to Noah, he has his own issues. His dad, the current B&B owner is ready to give up. He wants to sell the business.
Can They Save The Business?
Noah has made a last-ditch effort to save his family’s legacy. He has invited a “big-time travel blogger” to come out. A good review could change the fate of the beloved establishment.
But, Noah is far from ready to make a great impression. The B&B does not have the cozy romantic charm it once had.
Thankfully, Rory is in PR. She has some ideas that could help him.
Now, they have a deal. Noah will continue to be her fake boyfriend. Meanwhile, Rory will help him rebrand the B&B.
But, what happens when an “impulsive lie” becomes the truth? Because sparks start to fly and the B&B on Lilac Lake continues to work its charm.
