Kardashians Feed Over 5000 Homeless People In L.A.
Back on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian found a homeless man outside of their store. She then took him home, cleaned him up, and gave him some of Caitlyn Jenner’s clothes. That was something she felt great about and it showed what a big heart she had. Yet, as the years went by, the KarJenners amassed a lot more wealth so they have been living large. The birthday parties are over the top, some have planes, and it is excessive. They will post the lavish celebrations and events they throw on social media and it can appear tone deaf.
Additionally, they resell their children’s clothes as well as their own which they have been called out for doing. Why can’t they just donate them to those in need when they clearly do not need the money? However, Kim Kardashian has become very dedicated to prison reform which is admirable, and for the holiday, the family got together to give back. According to People, they fed over 5K homeless people before celebrating Thanksgiving together.

The Kardashians teamed up with SharkNinja and together, they donated to Union Station Homeless Services. This was for their annual Dinner in the Park which gives thousands of warm, Thanksgiving meals to those in Los Angeles. Plus, they donated to Alexandria House, which helps with housing for women/children who are experiencing trauma and homelessness. Khloe Kardashian spoke out in 2017 about how she learned the gift of giving from her parents:
“My parents have always been very compassionate and giving. We were raised in a very blessed environment but since my dad grew up a lot less fortunate, it was really important to him to show us all realities of life and not let us be jaded by the life that he was so lucky to provide us.”
Keeping It Quiet
Another thing the Kardashians were taught was not to brag about the good things that they did. Khloe Kardashian shared that her late father, Robert Kardashian raised them to give back but not to “boast” about it:
“At the same time, my dad always said to not be boastful about the charity work you do. Ask yourself if you are helping to benefit others or for a self-serving purpose. Because I hate when people throw their charity work in everyone’s faces because they are doing it for publicity or praise.”
This is likely why their donations were not plastered all over their social media pages. They did showcase the lovely Thanksgiving holiday they shared together. Kris Jenner debuted a new look that fans called “young” and everyone was smiling and happy. They posed in cheetah print and had a giant tree as their backdrop.
