Tom Hanks And Other Celebrities Open Up About Living With Coronavirus
Tom Hanks stepped up as one of the first celebrities who announced they tested positive for the coronavirus. He also announced his wife Rita Wilson suffered from it. The coronavirus pandemic has wrecked the entertainment industry for the time being and infected more and more celebrities. Two weeks later, Younger star, Debi Mazar announced on Instagram that she tested positive for the coronavirus, as well. Luckily, since then, she’s started recovering.
Tom Hanks is slowly recovering from COVID-19
Both Tom and Rita shared their experiences of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Tom said they both “felt a bit tired, like [they] had colds and some body aches.” He added that Rita also had “chills that came and went. Slight fevers, too.” The couple ended up getting tested, which showed they had for the novel virus.
While experiencing the virus felt very scary, Hanks managed to stay calm and follow the protocols put in place by the medical officials. The Hanks couple remain in isolation for as long as required and takes it one day at a time. InTouch Weekly reported that while Tom Hanks and his wife no longer exhibit a fever, they still feel “blah,” saying that doing household work like laundry and the dishes lead them to take a nap on the couch.
Fans took to Instagram to share how glad they feel now that Tom Hanks and his wife become better. One Instagram user said, “I love your style, still making funny jokes!” Even Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Kyle Richards wished them a speedy recovery.

More celebrities are diagnosed with COVID
Greg Rikaart from The Young and the Restless got infected with the coronavirus, but stays positive. Rikaart wishes Tom Hanks well and shared that he’s happy the Hanks’ couple symptoms slowly improve. Luther star Idris Elba currently recovers from the coronavirus. He’s using his diagnosis as a way to show fans the importance of following social distancing and washing their hands.
Former The Bachelor star, Colton Underwood tested positive for the virus. An Instagram video shows him feeling the symptoms of the virus, appearing sweaty and out of breath. Underwood even said he struggles walking up a flight of stairs. However, Colton told his fans that he’s better now and can leave his isolation.
