Fans Think New ‘Ghost Adventures’ Season Will Be The Last
Ghost Adventures has aired for 25 seasons on Tavel Channel and Discovery. Throughout the show’s run, Zak Bagans and his team have investigated some of the most famous haunted locations all over the Earth. However, with the new season still dropping episodes, some fans feel like it is coming to an end.
Here is why fans think the paranormal investigation series is coming to an end.
Ghost Adventures Fans Think Show Is Ending
Ghost Adventures has been around since 2008, led by Zak Bagans and his ghost-hunting team. They have explored almost every well-known haunted location in the United States and have several episodes where they have gone abroad to explore things in other countries as well.
However, some fans feel the series is about to wrap up. On Reddit, a poster asked if this would be the ghost-hunting show’s final season. They mentioned that Zak’s contract for the show he signed in 2022 expires after 2025, and there has been no news of a new contract.
Other commenters chimed in on the show’s possible ending:
- “I know we’re all somehow attached to this show for whatever reason but I think I would finally be okay with it ending. Twenty+ seasons is a nice run.”
- “We are now having 4 episodes season and everything is located at maximum 1 hour of Vegas. There won”t be anything anymore to film soon.”
- “Well, it’s very obvious that zack has been phoning it in for the last few seasons light, not going off of the west coast and trying to do spin off shows, and now he’s sending the crew and not even going.”
Some people say they are still enjoying the series, but with fewer episodes and not as many big excursions lately, some fans are ready to say goodbye.
Zak Bagans Says His Days Are Numbered
The fans’ concern might be real. In September, Zak Bagans himself said that the show won’t last forever. He spoke about ending the show and said that when it is time, the show will have to finally close its doors.
“When the time comes, the time comes and to be doing a show for — we’re going on 16 years now — it’s just unheard of. So if the time comes, the time comes,” Zak said in an interview with ET Online. “I’m going to be so thankful for the opportunity that I’ve had to investigate with these three guys that I love. And for all the experiences that we’ve shared in the locations back then, we’re done but we’re not.”
He also said it was hard to continue with the schedule. This might explain the fewer episodes and lack of travel. However, he said he would keep doing this as long as people were tuning in.
