MBFFL Whitney Way Thore Does Some Strange Things
While My Big Fat Fabulous Life star, Whitney Way Thore, has been known to make some odd comments or even baffling ones, now fans are weirded out by one of her habits. Although there are times Whitney makes fans laugh, there are times they question her motives. It wasn’t long ago that fans slammed her for “fake” weight loss claims. But Whitney isn’t shy about her feelings. Recently, she didn’t hold back about confronting a fan. Likewise, she tried to provoke others by calling them “unhinged.” For Whitney, back-and-forth banter isn’t uncommon. However, even a sweet post has gotten some side-eye from fans.
Whitney Way Thore Weirds Fans Out With Recent Post
On Reddit, My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans talk about Whitney Way Thore’s strange post. First, a user says, “WHY does she refer to her mom as ‘My sweet girl’ like she’s a pet? It makes me irrationally angry.” The Redditor was referring to a photo Whitney recently posted on Instagram that encouraged fans to identify if it was her or her mom, Babs Thore.
- Shocked, one MBFFL fan says, “Oh my goodness at first glance I thought this was WWT and she was referring to the cat as my girl. I didn’t realize how much they resemble each other.”
- “I didn’t realize until you pointed it out that it wasn’t NitWhit. I was thinking, ‘When did she get that cat?'”
- “I thought it was WWT also and the cat had died.”
- “What the hell, I only realized that isn’t the case after I read your comment.”
- “Me too. I was like how do we know she’s referring to her mom and not the cat? Then I was like …oh… 😆.”
Whitney Way Thore Calls Her Mom ‘My Sweet Girl’
While some MBFFL fans had a hard time believing the photo was Babs Thore and not Whitney Way Thore, someone clarified Whitney had confirmed it.
- “Isn’t she referring to the literal pet in the picture, her cat?”
- “She has now clarified it is her mom and that she’s referring to her mom as ‘my sweet girl’ in a follow-up story after this one…”
- Someone else adds, “I’ve heard her call her mother ‘mommy girl.‘”
- Others just know the Thore family is their own breed, “The Thor Family is interesting… someone will probably disagree but I thought the mouth kisses were weird… I never kiss my parents on the lips.”
Let Her Grieve
Additionally, there were some pleas in the comments that wanted MBFFL fans to cut Whitney Way Thore some slack on her process of grieving.
- “Literally😭 Like who nitpicks the wording of a grieving daughter’s post about her mom😭😭 Social media is a disease fr.”
- “This exactly! The girl is grieving. Any post and Whitney is torn to shreds. I saw one recently where she did not ‘drop it low’ in a workout class cause of knee issues. The instructor in the video was hella rude, shouting ‘Everyone in this class has to drop it low. Don’t blame me for your big bellies if you can’t.’ I go to a lot of dance fitness classes and if the instructor ever embarrassed me like this, I would have walked mid-class. But folks here just ripped her up.”
- “My gosh, they could be twins! Well, I’ll say this although I’m sure her mom was sweet, what I liked about Babs is that she was certainly sweet tart ’cause she could deliver some zingers.”
