The Voice alum Sundance Head was recently shot as a result of a freak accident. With everything that has gone down since the unfortunate incident occurred, many of his fans are curious about how he is doing now. So, how is the singer doing following this harrowing incident?
The Voice Alum Sundance Head Shot During Hunting Accident
What started out as a routine hunting expedition turned near-fatal for The Voice alum, Sundance Head. The singer was getting ready for a weekend full of hunting adventures, until life had other plans.
Unfortunately for Head, he ended up taking a bullet to his abdomen while he was preparing to hunt alone on his Texas ranch. The singer accidentally shot himself, as his gun went off. There were no other shooters, and there was no foul play.
Luckily for Head, according to his wife, Misty Head, the bullet missed all of his vital organs, and they were able to airlift him to the hospital.
Sundance Head Was A Winner On The Voice
Sundance Head gained national attention when he competed on The Voice. His memorable vocal performances and his unique look resonated with viewers. With the help of Blake Shelton as his coach, he was able to ride the wave all the way to the finish line and bag the title.
Since he won the reality singing competition years ago, he has carved out a nice career for himself, and has managed to remain in the public eye since then. Even when you win a competition like The Voice, it can be easy to fall off the map if you don’t build on the initial momentum and exposure that a show like this provides.
Head Health Update Following Accidental Shooting
With this unfortunate incident happening to Sundance Head, many of his fans are curious about how he is doing since this situation went down. It turns out, the singer was “released” from the hospital. His wife, Misty Head, gave fans another update on his condition, adding that it was a “ruff” three-hour ride back home.
Because of all the moving, Sundance bled through his dressings. So, his wife had to change them once they finally got back home, adding that he was only in a hospital gown because all of his clothes were back at the ranch.
In addition to her update on Sundance, as well as thanking all of his fans for their thoughts and prayers, Misty included a pic of the shirt that her husband was wearing at the time of the incident, including the visible bullet hole in it. With this visual example, she went on to say: “Any higher or lower would have been devastating.”
