Ryan Reynolds Clever Response To Insult From Martha Stewart
Ryan Reynolds and Martha Stewart are neighbors in their Bedford, N.Y. neighborhood. Given they live next door they likely run into one another on occasion. Recently Martha had some rude comments about the Deadpool & Wolverine star. Reynolds is not the type to stay silent when publicly called out. Keep reading to find out his response.
Martha Stewart Gets Sassy With Ryan Reynolds
Martha Stewart, 83, recently took to X (formally Twitter) to call out her neighbor Ryan Reynolds, 48. On Saturday, November 2nd Stewart called Reynolds “Not so funny.” Martha’s comments on Ryan went viral soon after she posted them. This situation originated after Bilt CEO Ankur Jain asked Stewart to name which of her neighbors was most fun to hang out with.
During her Rent Free interview with Ankur Jain Martha responded “He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” she added “And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.” Stewart did share who she would like to hang out with.
The neighbors that Martha Stweart would pick over Ryan Reynolds include Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Snoop Dogg, and Taylor Swift. Stewart is quite the name-dropper when it comes to revealing the identity of her neighbors. She did admit that she “Would take Ryan off [the list], and I would put in somebody else.” She added “He’s a good actor, he can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again … I’m going to get in trouble.” She was certainly right about that. 
Ryan Reynolds Gets The Last Laugh
Ryan Reynolds is not the type to let things lie. He responded to Martha Stewarts comments that he was not funny. Reynolds took to X to respond, he commented “I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once.” He added “The woman is unexpectedly spry. She closed the gap after a mile or so.” Reynolds’s response is funny. His response insinuates that Stewart is active for an older individual.

The next time they run into each other while out and about is sure to be awkward after this drama between them has gone viral. Ryan did take Martha’s comments with a bit of fun though so hopefully, things won’t be too bad between them.
