Valerie Bertinelli Injured After Big Fall At ‘Secret’ Project
Valerie Bertinelli is working on a new, secret project. While she hasn’t said what this is yet, the former Food Network star said that she suffered an injury while working on the project. She said she is doing better, but she admitted that it was a pretty bad injury when it happened.
Here is what Valerie said happened, along with, perhaps, a small hint at her new project.
Valerie Bertinelli Injured While Working On Secret Project
Valerie Bertinelli took to her Instagram account and let fans know that she had injured herself while working on a secret project. Bertinelli has been in the industry a long time. As such, she has a dedicated fanbase that still keeps up with everything she does, as well as anything and everything she has going on behind the scenes.
She showed off the injury, which was a giant gash on her right arm that she said she got when she fell.
“I would ask for hazard pay, but it was my own damn fault,” Valerie said. “I’ve been working on a really fun new project that I can’t wait to tell you about and this is what happens when you literally trip over the corner of a stage and fall on your a** in front of the crew.”
She said this happened because “when you’re me. Because I’m a klutz. And embarrassing myself is my bailiwick.”
She seemed to have some good humor about it, but her fans were still worried about her, and let her know in the comments:
- “Have you had a tetanus shot in the past 10 years? If not you might want to get one.”
- “Girl. I am the exact same way!!!! Your poor arm!!!!! I hope it feels better! Healing hugs coming your way, dear one!”
- “It will make for a nice conversation piece, but in all seriousness please heal up soon. Sending you positive vibes for a speedy recovery.”
What Is Valerie Bertinelli’s Secret Project?
This has led many people to wonder what it is that Valerie Bertinelli was working on. At least one commenter mentioned that they miss her cooking show that she had at one time.

While this new project is a secret, it did seem to film in front of a live audience. This means people out there know what is going on, but likely had to sign NDA forms agreeing to keep it a secret.
With that said, what we do know is that Valerie will join The Drew Barrymore Show as a new regular lifestyle expert. “I absolutely adore her,” Bertinelli said of Drew. “And all the people that work there are so flippin’ cool.” She will rotate in this spot with Ross Matthews, Chris Appleton, and Zanna Roberts Rassi.
