The October 28th episode of TOW showcased James and Meitalia’s colorful Javanese wedding. The 90 Day Fiance stars have been married for two and a half years, but they wanted to tie the knot in Meitalia’s home country. There were a lot of things happening at the ceremony, including a musical performance.

“Our entertainment tonight is called a Sintren,” Meitalia said. According to James, it was a “very unique” sound, adding that he doesn’t even know how they were able to pull off such tones with their voices. “And I’m not sure the tones are necessarily supposed to have ever been hit by humankind, but it’s special,” he added.

90 Day Fiance Fans Slam James As Ignorant

Some Redditors are calling out James for being “ignorant” throughout his wedding. Some people are upset about how James never followed any tradition, making excuses that he has no idea what is going on because he doesn’t speak their language.

However, the 90 Day Fiance star previously promised Meitalia’s family that he’d learn their language to be able to communicate with them. Meitalia ended up being a translator. Others even called him out for seemingly making fun of the traditional wedding.

“I’m so f**king sick of James b****ing about not knowing whats going on because he doesn’t speak the language. My man, you promised her dad that you would learn the language and you didn’t. That was your choice. He is lucky that so many of her family do speak English, but crap. Can he follow through with any of his promises?”

TLC has also released a description for the upcoming TOW episode. According to the network, James insists they need to return to the U.S. He is also hurt, realizing that Meitalia is choosing between him and her family.

Meitalia decided to go back to her home country to treat her throat problems. She also promised James a better life in Indonesia, but James ended up being unemployed, and he’s been struggling to provide anything for his wife and in-laws.
