‘Curse Of Oak Island’ Teasing Centuries-Old Mystery Reveal
Rick and Marty Lagina are back with a new season of The Curse of Oak Island. This 12th season has offered plenty of rumors and hints at what will happen. However, a new clue indicates that the season might answer a centuries-old mystery.
Here is what you need to know about what might be coming this season on The Curse of Oak Island.
The Curse Of Oak Island Answering Old Mystery?
Lately, there have been many deeper discoveries on The Curse of Oak Island. This is thanks to advanced technology that didn’t exist when the Lagina brothers started their obsession with the island. The tech allows them to investigate deeper into the island, and they might be on the verge of a new discovery.
A new teaser released for Season 12 indicates that the new tech is opening up the chance to discover the answer to the now 229-year-old treasure mystery. This tech has allowed Rick and Marty to explore the island’s depths deeper. This allowed them to know where to dig, where before, they had just gone by gut instinct and small clues.
Much of this comes from the investigations into the Money Pit and the swamp area. Archaeologist Dr. Ian Spooner uncovered several traces of non-native materials. This means there was likely past human activity in the area on the island.
They also found more clues at the Garden Shaft, including wood and metal fragments. This suggests hidden structures and possible tunnels that could lead to the treasure.
The Team Is Getting Closer To The Money Pit On The Curse Of Oak Island
In the teaser, the team said they are digging up the first-ever searcher shaft on the island. They call Shaft 2 the Holy Grail, and as soon as they find this shaft, they only have “14 feet to The Money Pit” (via YouTube)
The team also found air underground that wouldn’t be there if it wasn’t a tunnel. This means that they feel they have gotten closer to uncovering the truth about where the treasure might be. “This story is a testament to the power of faith and hope,” Rick Lagina said in the teaser. “Look around, find inspiration from each other.”
With the new technology and all the new equipment that the team has, it might be time to dig straight to where they think the tunnels and vaults might be located.
The new The Curse of Oak Island season premieres on Tuesday, November 12, at 9/8c on Discovery Channel.
