Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber performed the Rumba to “Kiss The Girl” from The Little Mermaid, earning a 24/30 from judges. Carrie Ann Inaba thought it was their best performance so far. The crowd cheered for the dancers throughout the routine, loving the adorable chemistry between the two.
Derek Hough even joked that he “shipped” Sasha and Jenn together.
As for the individual routines, there was another tie.
Actress Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong had a rough time last week and lost their spot at the top of the leaderboard. But they came back stronger and better than ever. They scored a 27/30 for their Paso doble to “We Own The Night” from Zombies 2.
But Danny Amendola and Witney Carson were hot on their heels. They performed a Jazz routine to “Bye Bye Bye” from Deadpool & Wolverine and also took home a 27/30.
Since Danny and Chandler were on opposing teams during the team dance, one did eventually surpass the other.
