’90 Day Fiance’: Ashley Gets Back Together With Jay After He Cheated
90 Day Fiance stars Ashley Martson and Jay Smith are back together. They are feeling good about their relationship. They are so confident about their reconciliation that they tore up the divorce papers. The TLC stars announced their decision to call off their divorce. This is the second time that the couple has decided to get back together.
Ashley and Jay are so serious about getting back together that they have a joint YouTube channel. The reality stars made the announcement on Thursday, March 26. This comes after fans slammed Ashley for spending her quarantine with Jay.
Ashley and Jay said they “ripped divorce papers up”
As per In Touch Weekly, Ashley Matson and Jay Smith feel “stronger than ever.” They feel good about being dedicated to their marriage. The 90 Day Fiance couple took to YouTube to share a special announcement with their fans.
“I feel like you have trouble in your marriage or relationship and you choose to try it again, you have to tell yourself before you get back into that relationship ‘the past is in the past’ and you chose to forgive what they did,” Ashley said.
She declared that she’s ready to move on from the past and get back with Jay. He feels the same way as he sees himself with Ashley “forever.” The couple has worked on their issues together as a “team.” He revealed that they’re still in love with each other and plan on working things “differently” now.

“We are stronger than ever, this time it’s not gonna go like last time, we’re going to stay together,” the 22-year-old said. “This has to work.”
Jay also confirmed that they “ripped all [of their] divorce papers up” and threw them away. This comes after the couple decided that they didn’t want to move through with their divorce. During their time apart, Jay realized that cheating on his 33-year-old wife “makes no sense running around when you can build an empire.” Now, the couple wants to focus on building their future together.
90 Day Fiance couple wants to have kids, someday
Does that mean kids are in the picture? The couple revealed in their Q&A video that they want to have a few kids of their own. Just not now. They want to grow their family someday, once they agree as to when.
“As far as kids, we’re working on that,” Jay answered. “We really don’t have no plan, not as yet, but we are working on that.”
“That’s in the future,” Ashley continued. “We’re working on more things, more important [things] right now.”
Jay joked that 2025 could be the year they have kids. She added that “maybe then” it will feel right to expand their family. While Ashley admitted she wanted kids in the past, it was clear that the couple was never on the same page. While Ashley had a hysterectomy, she admitted that she did “save her eggs,” as per In Touch Weekly.
The couple just wants to focus on the only kids they have at the moment. Ashley has two kids from a previous relationship. She revealed that her children are happy to see them back together. Even her daughter, Roxy, celebrated Jay’s one-year of residing in the U.S. on social media.
Ashley filed for divorce from Jay for the second time in April 2019. This came after the couple documented their complicated marriage on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?
