Lisa Marie Presley Shares Disturbing Story Of Losing Her Virginity
When people think of Lisa Marie Presley, they often automatically think of Elvis Presley. Lisa was Elvis‘s daughter, and she inherited her father‘s estate after he passed away. Before her death in 2023, she was known for being a talented singer, somewhat following in the footsteps of her legendary dad. Before Lisa died, she penned a memoir detailing some of the trauma she endured as a child. Here’s what she said when she described the night she lost her virginity.
Lisa Marie Presley’s Memoir Talks About The Loss Of Her Virginity
Lisa’s memoir, From Here to the Great Unknown, was just released on October 8, 2024. She died on January 12, 2023, from a small bowel obstruction in her abdomen. This means this book has been published posthumously. In the pages of her memoir, Lisa wrote about what it was like losing her virginity to a 23-year-old man when she was only 14. She left him unnamed, but the fact that he was nine years older than her was a massive red flag.
According to Lisa, they crossed paths for the first time in the Bahamas. She described her feelings for him saying she was “completely madly in love.” She wrote that the man was “understandably, horribly apprehensive” about pursuing a legitimate relationship with her. Obviously, he knew their connection would’ve gotten him in serious legal trouble. Things took a heartbreaking turn for Lisa when the man betrayed her.
He arranged for his friends to take secret photographs of them together at a park so he could sell the photos to the press. Lisa wrote, “They sold the story, and got paid for the photos. He didn’t care about me. Ours was an illegal relationship and selling those photos outed him.”
Lisa Marie Presley’s Memoir Mentions Her Suicide Attempt
The stress of the situation was so much for Lisa that she attempted to end her own life after that. She swallowed 20 Valium, but it was more of a cry for helping anything else. She explained that she made sure there was a witness to intervene because she didn’t actually want to die that day. In the book, Lisa wrote about her brief reconciliation with the unnamed man later on in her life, but it was too late for anything to genuinely form between them.

She had already emotionally moved on. She wrote, “By that point, I had met and fallen in love with a guy named Danny Keough.” Lisa might be dead now, but her memoir gives her the chance to live on forever. Now, anyone who has ever been curious about Lisa and her personal life has access to the depth that she was willing to share with the world.
