‘Jersey Shore’ Why Did Angelina Pivarnick Just Plead Guilty To DV?

Back in 2009, reality TV lovers came to know Angelina Pivarnick as a main cast member on the original Jersey Shore. She was interesting to watch because she was always picking fights with her housemates. It’s unlikely anyone will soon forget the many times she got into fights with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. Maybe getting into fights has seemingly always been in Angelina’s nature? Her latest update is that she pled guilty after a domestic violence arrest. These are the messy details.

The Real Reason Angelina Pivarnick Was Arrested

In June 2024, cops arrested Angelina for a handful of reasons. She was in hot water for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, and obstruction of the administration of law. She pled guilty to the disorderly conduct charge on October 2. The dispute reportedly went down in New Jersey. The good news for Angelina is that all charges against her were dismissed. Her attorney shared the details with People saying:

“All of Angelina’s criminal charges were dismissed. She admitted responsibility only for a non-criminal offense, the substance of which was that she created a minor disturbance at her own home. We [are] very happy with the outcome and she looks forward to putting this entire matter behind her.”

One thing that remains a mystery? We still don’t know who was on the other side of her domestic violence charge. It hasn’t been confirmed if her fiance, Vinny Tortorella, was the victim or not. Reportedly, he was inside their New Jersey home at the time of the attack. Angelina’s fiance, Vinny, shares a first name with her Jersey Shore co-star, Vinny Guadagnino, but these are two very different people.

Angelina Pivarnick And Vinny Tortorella’s History

Tortorella and Angelina have been linked since the beginning of 2022. In an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Angelina told her co-stars they fell for each other after he followed her on Instagram. It’s unclear when (or if) fans will get more details about who the domestic violence victim was.

Based on Angelina‘s social media presence, she seems unbothered by this entire scandal. She’s been posting content as if everything is completely normal. Her most recent post is a shot of herself behind the scenes of her Um Hello podcast. Social media users have been sharing their thoughts about her charges on Reddit:

• “The girl needs serious help. She needs to be single and find self-love. She said she very badly wants a child and she is in no way ready to raise a kid right now.”
• “She’s off the f***ing rails… Jesus. Also, a bit off topic, but I’m genuinely worried about all the plastic surgery she’s having done.”
• “I know a girl like Angelina, and although her boyfriend is a chronic cheater – he’s not the issue. It’s her. It’s exhausting.”
