The new Gold Rush season is almost here. With Season 15 right around the corner, Discover Channel has released a new promo teaser for the new season. It is an interesting video that features Rick Ness, Tony Beets, and Parker Schnabel at work while being slightly animated in the teaser.

Here is a look at the teaser and what you need to know about the upcoming season.

Gold Rush Season 15 Teaser Released

According to the new teasers for Gold Rush Season 15, $40 million is at stake in the Yukon thanks to record-breaking gold prices. This brings its own unique changes with it, and the network shared a lot of what will happen in the new season in a brand-new teaser (via YouTube).

The teaser claims that “one miner, in particular, will falter, threatening to destroy everything that they worked for.” While it doesn’t say who that miner is, there are rumors that it is Parker Schnabel, who has been dealing with some personal issues over the last year.

In the promo, Parker said he keeps coming back every year before he is “addicted to gold.” He has brought in over $98 million in gold over his career. However, he has to mine his claim in the Klondike before his license expires in six years, sending him into deep debt.

On the other hand, Rick Ness rebounded from leaving completely to rebuild his operation from the ground up. He now has a chance to become a landowner while still battling his demons.

As for Tony Beets, the entire operation is in danger after his son Kevin leaves the team, resulting in a power struggle from within.

What To Know About Gold Rush Season 15

Gold Rush Season 15 is back in just over one month. The show will be back in November. Like normal, it will air on Friday nights on Discovery Channel. It will also feature three experienced teams once again for the second season in a row.

For a few seasons, it seemed Gold Rush was sending out inexperienced people who struggled to accomplish anything. Names like Fred Lewis and the Clayton Brothers showed what happens when inexperienced people head out to Alaska and lose a lot of money. Fans wanted more experienced people, though, because watching failures is only fun for so long.

This season, like last, will see three very experienced miners back: Rick Ness, Tony Beets, and Parker Schnabel. Parker and Tony have never gone anywhere. However, Fred and the Clayton brothers were on Gold Rush because Rick suffered through some mental health issues and had to leave. With Rick back, things are rolling along strong again.

Gold Rush Season 15 premieres on Discovery Channel on Friday night, November 8, at 8/7c.

Are you excited to see Gold Rush Season 15 returning next month? Are you happy to see the three main teams of experienced miners back after a few seasons of struggles? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
