According to reports, the new teaser has Mike looking at the camera and saying, “I wake up in the morning, and I sometimes feel like I have white lightning coming out of the fingertips of my hands. I just can’t wait to get on the road and just be me” (via The U.S. Sun).

Mike then says he wants to find things that have been “hidden for 100 years and been untouched until you walk down in that cellar and there it is.” He says that is what a “picker” is. The teaser then says that Mike didn’t choose picking but that “picking chose him.”

As with the last few seasons, Mike hits the road with his brother Robbie Wolfe, Jersey Jon, and Danielle Colby. They travel America looking for these hidden treasures. Sadly, fans will never see Frank Fritz make these treks again after his recent death.

Frank Fritz Struggled In Final Days

Frank Fritz was fired from American Pickers after he underwent back surgery. He also had a stint in rehab for addiction issues. Frank then suffered a stroke and was rehabilitated for the last year. While many fans thought he was improving, it seems things got worse for the former American Pickers star.

According to those close to him, he “couldn’t move his body,” and he needed 24/7 care in his final days. “He has been bad since the stroke, and he had been getting worse,” they said. “He was unable to move the right side of his body; He needed 24-hour care.”

They also said there was no way he would get better, and he was “in a home.” It turns out that Frank was rushed to the hospital four times in 2022 and 2023 for pneumonia and a seizure.

“Frank filmed American Pickers for over a decade. We will always remember ‘the bearded charmer’ and his never-ending search for vintage motorcycles and bikes.” the American Pickers Instagram account posted. “Our thoughts are with Frank’s loved ones during this difficult time.”
