Britney Spears’ Shocking Ties To Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Pop star Britney Spears was revealed to have an interesting connection to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. While not directly involved, this has come to light thanks to recent allegations against Diddy. A similar connection had also previously come about when a producer made recent claims about Diddy.
Spears Isn’t Directly Tied To The Allegations
Diddy, who has recently come under allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering, is currently awaiting his upcoming trial at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center. Diddy and his legal team have denied the allegations against him.
While Britney Spears is not directly tied to the charges, a connection has come out between Diddy and the pop star. This connection comes from Spears’ former business manager, Lou M. Taylor, who is believed to have had a prominent role in her 2008 conservatorship. Taylor, the founder of Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group, also managed Diddy.
Spears previously criticized Tri Star employee Robin Greenhill. Back in 2021, Greenhill was alleged to have had some control over Spears’ credit cards and medication. Allegedly, Tri Star had also been connected to the security company used to monitor the pop star.
The Mirror U.S. noted that Spears referred to Greenhill in her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me, as Taylor’s “weird a– lackey.” It was also claimed that they had “bullied” her along with Spears’ father, Jamie Spears.
Daily Express U.S. noted that Tri Star, Lou, and Robin have denied these claims. They claimed the conservatorship was a “recommendation of legal counsel, not Tri Star, and approved by the Court for more than 12 years.” In addition, the indictment against Diddy did not name Tri Star.
A Previous Connection Was Made During An Earlier Lawsuit
In 2024, Greenhill’s name also came up in a $30 million lawsuit, in which producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones accused Diddy of groping and possibly raping him while under the influence of drugs. This suit came out weeks before Diddy’s homes were raided due to the sex trafficking allegations. Among other claims, Jones alleged that he was ordered to recruit sex workers and engage in sex acts. Jones alleged Greenhill was among those helping with these incidents.
At this time, Diddy’s legal team have denied the charges against him. During the time of his arrest, the mogul’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, issued the following statement:
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person, but he Is not a criminal.”
As was previously reported, Agnifilo previously tried to transfer Diddy out of the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. At the time, Diddy’s lawyer had hoped to transfer him to the Essex County Correctional Facility in New Jersey, allegedly out of concern for the mogul’s safety.
