Jon Gosselin Reveals Collin Has Enrolled In College
Jon Gosselin is backing his son Collin while his ex-wife Kate is trying to tear him down. Kate released some social media posts in which she said Collin should be locked up as violent, even after he graduated from college with honors. Now, Jon is updating fans on what Collin is doing now.

Jon Gosselin Backs Collin After Abuse Allegations Against Kate
Collin Gosselin was interviewed about his childhood and continued estrangement from his mother, Kate. After Kate’s social media posts claimed he was violent and should be locked away, the Marines discharged him. This was based on Kate committing him to a mental health facility when he was 11 years old.
According to Collin, Kate would zip-tie his hands and feet and lock him in a basement room with nothing but a bed. He also said she isolated him from his siblings and wouldn’t even allow him to eat with them. His sister, Hannah also backed him on those latter claims.
When it comes to the basement room, Jon Gosselin also said it existed. Moreover, he believes his son when it comes to these alleged abuse claims against Kate. After leaving Collin in the mental health facility for three years, Jon finally got him out and took custody.
Collin graduated from high school with honors and joined the Marines, but Kate still demanded that he be locked away as a danger to those around him. Jon stands by his son and admits that Collin is moving forward in his life despite Kate’s comments.
Collin Gosselin Is In College Now
While Kate Gosselin feels her son should be locked away in a mental health facility as he enters adulthood, Collin has instead applied at a very different institution. Jon Gosselin shared Collin has enrolled in college since the Marines discharged him (via PEOPLE).
“He’s just moving forward past everything that happened to him,” Jon said about his son, who’s a freshman at Penn State University.
“He’s at college. He’s doing really well. He’s just moving forward past everything that happened to him.”
More so, Collin’s trying to get past his mother’s interference after her social media posts. Plus, he is appealing the discharge decision. Collin released his medical records to the public to prove that he did not have any of the afflictions that his mother had him diagnosed with as a child.
He claims Kate institutionalized him once he started telling his teachers about her locking him in the basement room after zip-tying his hands and feet. Finally, he feels his mother was trying to discredit him to protect herself from child abuse allegations.

Collin should move on and go to college. The marines released him for failing to disclose information and a shoving incident. Lack of candor regarding previous medical information is quite important for the marines to know. Someone we’re going g to entrust with an M-16 and the safety of his fellow marines.if an incident is to the point that it is reported to a superior and they want to look into his medical file then as a now adult in an adult world wanting adult responsibilities then that is on him.
He should sue Kate, the doctors, Jon and the State of Pennsylvania for the atrocities he believes happened to him as a child. Jon doesn’t get a free pass. He had to know what was going on inside the home.
