Kim Porter’s Dad Speaks Out After ‘Memoir’ & Diddy Allegations
Before Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested and charged with several felonies, an author published a book under a pseudonym. The book is alleged to be a “memoir” based on Kim Porter’s notes and has several allegations against several people. It also claims her death was under “mysterious” circumstances.
However, Kim’s family has said the book is fake and that Porter never wrote anything in it. Now, Kim’s father has spoken out about everything, including Combs’s arrest and the allegations about her death. Here is what you need to know.
Kim Porter’s Dad Speaks About Death Claims
Kim Porter died in 2018. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office listed the cause of death as pneumonia. This was mostly accepted until recently. Her ex, Al B. Sure, recently said she was “murdered.” Then, there was the “memoir” called KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side, authored by Jamal T. Millwood, which also said her death was not by natural causes.
First, there is no such person as Jamal T. Millwood. Millwood is a pseudonym for Los Angeles–based producer Chris Todd, who claims he got all the information for his book from a thumb drive of her writing. However, Porter’s family, including her children, said the book was all made up and false. Todd spoke to Rolling Stone and actually said he doesn’t know if what he wrote is true.
Kim’s dad, Jake Porter, 78, is not happy about the latest rumors about Kim’s death. When looking at the news of his daughter’s death being suspicious, Jake said it was “A load of c—” (via The Express).
Kim Porter’s Dad ‘Disgusted’ At Diddy
Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested and charged with several felonies. These include events that happened at his “Freak Parties” and include sexual assault allegations.
A famous older video showed Diddy and Jake Porter mourning Kim’s death together at her funeral. Combs was with Kim from 1994 until 2007. They have three children together, two of whom are still minors (Jessie and D’Lila). However, even before Diddy’s arrest, Jake had developed conflicted feelings about the father of his grandchildren.
Jake said a video this year that CNN released showed Diddy assaulting his girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. This really soured him when he saw what kind of man Diddy was. “When I saw the video of what he did to Cassie. I was disgusted. I don’t really have much to say beyond that,” Jake said. “Everyone’s innocent until proven guilty I guess, but the truth will come out.”
