Fans Call For ‘The Masked Singer’ To Replace Jenny McCarthy
The Masked Singer is back for a new season and Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg is also back. The new season kicked off with the elimination of an NFL Hall of Fame star in Week 1. WIth a tough competition in the works this season, most fans are enjoying the reality show once again. However, others are not happy Jenny is still on the show.
Here is what some fans are saying about Jenny and her role on The Masked Singer.
Fans Calling For The Masked Singer To Dump Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg
The first week of The Masked Singer was enjoyable, with five great performances and the elimination of an NFL star. However, for some fans, it was hard to enjoy the premiere because they have a problem with panelist Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg. They even feel she is a distraction on the show and should be replaced.
In what amounts to a long opinion piece on a site normally known for news coverage, one writer broke down what they think makes Jenny a distraction on The Masked Singer (via Meaww). The writer mentioned that the reality competition series is meant to be a family show, and her controversial, outspoken beliefs make it hard to watch.
The main complaint was that Jenny is a proud “anti-vaccine” advocate. Jenny has been very vocal about the fact that she claims vaccines “cause autism” in children. The writer claims that her beliefs do more harm than good when it comes to viewers watching her on television as a family.
It should be noted that Jenny does have these beliefs, but she never speaks on them during The Masked Singer. She mostly keeps all her political and scientific opinions to herself while working on the show.
However, the person also noted that her jokes and comments are often for shock value, which also does not gel with the families who might be watching the show at home.
Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg Still A Big Part Of The Masked Singer
With all this said, there is no reason to believe that The Masked Singer will remove Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg for the above-mentioned reasons. Jenny made her anti-vaccine beliefs known many years ago and they were already old news when Fox hired her to work on the show. They already knew it and it never bothered them.
As for her risque humor, that was also something that Fox knew, and it is something they likely encourage. Jenny is a source of entertainment on The Masked Singer, and they won’t get rid of her for being exactly who they knew she was when they hired her.
What do you think about Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg being a panelist on The Masked Singer? Do you think her outspoken, controversial beliefs should matter when it comes to her working on the show? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

I love Jenny. Get rid of that stupidly ridiculous Ken Jeong. He is an embarassment.
I love Jenny, she is beautiful, I like the way she dresses and how she keeps her hair up. I think they all do a great job. They all need to settle down and let each other have their time to talk without anyone else talking in on them. I like “The Masked Singer”.
I like all the members of The Masked Singer! The contestants are awesome…didn’t know some of them had really cool voices!! Ken is the comedy and he always makes me laugh. I love the theme nights!! Keep it going……!!!!
Sickened how she groped a minor. That was not funny and nothing to joke about. Get her gone.
I like Jenny, actually I like them all although Nick gets on my nerves at times. lol
