New Abusive Details Emerge On ‘Bachelorette’ Devin Strader’s Shady Past
More details are emerging about Bachelorette final rose winner Devin Strader and his past. On Monday night, Reality Steve revealed that Devin had a restraining order issued against him in 2017. The order was requested by his ex-girlfriend. In the beginning, Steve did not say everything that led to the court order. However, later, details emerged that revealed abusive actions from Devin. Abusive Details Emerge On Devin Strader’s Restraining Order Past
Reality Steve was the first to share shocking details about Devin Strader’s past. 2017 was not a good year for him. He not only faced charges of trespassing and burglary, but he also had a restraining order issued against him and was arrested for driving under the influence.
At first, it was believed the details of the restraining order were sealed. However, it turns out it had been unsealed and many outlets began reporting on what Devin did that led to this court order. The documents they were able to obtain contained a handwritten paper from his ex detailing some of the things Devin had allegedly done.
One part said that Devin had allegedly abused the victim. It read he “spit on me and threw his drink on me at Pelicans game in front of everyone in the crowd,” and “put me in a chokehold covering my mouth.”
Other Details About The Court Order
Of course, Devin Strader faced accusations of other things including violating the restraining order. Another claim in the order revealed she had a flat tire. When it was being changed he came outside and laughed at her. The documents revealed he lived only two doors away from her.
He also reportedly broke into her home while she was out of town. He allegedly stole a diamond necklace he had given her. Devin was arrested and charged. He pleaded guilty to charges of criminal trespass and simple criminal damage to property of less than $500, and received one year of unsupervised probation.
Devin was seen in the street outside her home setting fire to something which was believed to be the restraining order.
So far Devin has not said anything in regard to the news surfacing this week. As far as Bachelorette producers, it seems a source close to production says somehow Devin’s prior record slipped through the cracks and did not show up with their reported extensive vetting process.
