1000-Lb Sisters star Amy Slaton has had a rollercoaster of a week. During a family trip to the zoo, she allegedly received a camel bite. When emergency services arrived, police apprehended the TLC star and a man with her for drug possession charges. On top of that, some fans think Amy is also now engaged.
After her explosive split from Michael Halterman, 1000-Lb Sisters fans want Amy to be happy. However, many remain concerned she’s making reckless and dangerous decisions, especially when it comes to her young sons. Is an engagement really the right move for her at the moment?
Is Amy Slaton About To Walk Down The Aisle Again?
Right now, the public doesn’t know much about Brian Scott Lovvorn. But he’s clearly a very close friend of Amy Slaton’s — possibly even more.
Tennessee police arrested both Lovvorn and Amy Slaton at the zoo when they spotted illegal drugs in their car. Authorities also charged them with child endangerment over the situation.
Now, Amy Slaton is in court. But photos from the courtroom indicate the TLC star could be engaged.
The Daily Mail obtained access to photos of Amy Slaton in court. On her left ring finger was a flashy ring that immediately caught the public’s eye. No one knows for certain if it’s an engagement ring. But knowing Amy, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities.
After divorcing Michael Halterman, Amy has been linked to various other men. As far as the public knows, the TLC star isn’t seeing anyone other than Lovvorn at the moment.
When 1000-Lb Sisters returns to TLC, fans might get a little more insight into the situation.
Did The Camel Bite Happen At All?
Since Amy Slaton and Brian Lovvorn’s arrest involved illegal drugs, many question whether or not the camel bite happened at all. The zoo’s owner believes the pair fabricated the story after Amy cut her arm on something else.
“We dispute that Amy was bitten by a camel because there is no bruising,” the zoo’s owner reportedly told The Sun. “She cut her arm on something, it’s not consistent with an animal bite. Her boyfriend or the man she was with [Lovvorn] was acting crazy, screaming and yelling and all kinds of stuff. He got mad that the police came out there because he just wanted the ambulance to come.”
According to TMZ, Amy’s lawyer maintains the camel attack definitely happened. However, fans are waiting to see what happens from here.
