Kelly Ripa Calls Out Mark Consuelos For His Hypocrisy
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have a Live With Kelly and Mark segment where they deal with marriage problems. It is a popular host chat that happens before Stump Mark each show. In this segment, the two usually air the things bugging them at the time and often rant about them.
Here is what Mark had to say this week, only for Kelly to call him out as a hypocrite.
Mark Consuelos Rants To Kelly Ripa About Cell Phones
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos say they can have their rants during this segment. They said nothing is off limits, not even their marriage. According to the daytime talk show hosts, this is a safe space since they are in front of a live studio audience.
However, they don’t just talk about their marriage problems. Sometimes, one of them will go off on something that bothers them in life. Kelly’s daily rant was about Mark, as she complained that she was his “ATM” since he never carries cash and that she was his “backup plan” if he needed money.
However, Mark’s big rant had nothing to do with Kelly. At least, it didn’t at first. The two were talking about how kids bringing cell phones to school can cause distractions. This topic is what set Mark off.
It wasn’t even cell phones in schools that had Mark mad. He started raving about people who take cell phones to concerts or fireworks displays. He feels they are missing out and not living in the moment because they want to record it. He also said he gets mad when people try to show him the videos from the events.
“All the people videotaping concerts and fireworks—you’ll never look at it again,” Mark said. “Guess what! I don’t want to see it. I don’t care! I don’t want to watch your video on your phone!” He finished by telling people to stop recording things and live in the moment.

That is when Kelly Ripa called out Mark for the rant. “You shot a video of me dancing on stage with Madonna,” Kelly said, reminding him of the moment. She said going on stage at a Madonna concert was a bucket list item.
However, Mark wouldn’t be deterred. He said he would have enjoyed the concert more if he hadn’t videotaped the moment. Then, Kelly cut loose on Mark. She said the Madonna concert was one of “800,000 videos” of him and his kids and family he has shot and recorded over the years.
After calling out Mark for his hypocrisy, Kelly joked they are “ranting today.”
