Based on the most recent updates making the rounds, Judge Mathis hung it up as far as his show is concerned, only to be dealing with relationship woes at home. According to the latest tea making the rounds with this situation, Linda Mathis, the judge’s wife, filed for divorce roughly two weeks ago.
This was alarming for many fans of the judge, as the husband and wife have been married for 39 years. Despite building a career on being an arbitrator to help people sort through their relationship woes and squabbles, this time around, it’s Judge Mathis who appears to be reeling in the aftermath of this divorce filing.
Judge Mathis Breaks Silence On Cheating Allegations
Following Linda Mathis putting forth the shocking divorce filing, the judge broke his silence, and is sharing his truth regarding the cheating allegations that have been making the rounds. According to the popular judge, he went on to say to TMZ on August 30 while at LAX: “It’s the worst days of my life.” The celeb judge went on to add: “Maybe I’ll be the example for another man—a cautionary tale. Don’t neglect your wife. That’s what happens, guys.”
The judge was candid about everything he has been going through since the divorce filing by his wife of 39 years. He also opened up on the topic of infidelity, saying: “Neglect can create suspicion, certainly. If you’re gone as much as I am, she has every right to suspect. You go to work, and you go to serve the community around the country. Then, you go with your guys to sporting events around the country and you go to other events without your wife. She would have a right to suspect infidelity.”

However, the judge vehemently denied stepping out on his wife following all the drama from this recent divorce filing. He is also determined for this not to be the end of their story, adding: “I’m getting my wife back.”
