For many years, there were concerns that Tammy Slaton would not live much longer, especially at the rate she was going. Many fans even urged her to get on a show like My 600-lb Life to get help from Dr. Now. Miraculously, though, Tammy stuck to her program, and has now dropped more than 400 pounds as a result.

Because of everything she has been through and how far she has come, Tammy Slaton is now something of a spokesperson for weight loss and healthy living. She often shares motivational words and other tips that have helped her along her slimming journey.

She said: “You know, for as long as I’ve struggled about being worthy, I am worth the effort, the time, and the love I’m giving myself.
