Some of America’s favorite morning show hosts are reportedly bickering ahead of a big move.Β Good Morning America anchors Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos are reportedly fighting with each other ahead of a big move for the show. What’s going on between theΒ GMA hosts? Keep reading to see what an insider revealed.

Fresh Start Causes Friction OnΒ GMA

Michael Strahan first appeared onΒ GMA in 2014. Since then, the hosting trio has become a fan favorite. They are often joking with each other during the broadcast. George and Michael even frequently match outfits and joked about making a movie together.

However, not everything is perfect behind the scenes onΒ Good Morning America apparently. An inside source revealed that there is “a lot of friction” between the co-hosts right now.

GMA is in the middle of making a huge change. The set of the morning show is changing locations, as many ABC shows are doing for their upcoming seasons. According to the insider, the big move is causing some serious problems between Robin, Michael, and George.

β€œThe move was supposed to be a fresh start for the show, but instead, it’s ignited a fierce competition among the hosts,” the insider told Closer Weekly.

They continued, detailing a fight between the three fan-favorite hosts. Each of them is competing with one another “to secure the best dressing room, and it’s causing a lot of friction!”

NewΒ Good Morning America Studio Coming In 2025

Good Morning America has been taped in Times Square Studios in New York City since 1999. It was announced last year thatΒ GMA would be moving to a new studio in 2025. They will be relocating to a new Walt Disney Co. building in Hudson Square.

A spokesperson for ABC News addressed the move in a statement. They said, β€œMoving all ABC News teams to our new state-of-the-art building was a strategic decision that will allow for more collaboration and innovation.”

The new studio location will allow everyone involved withΒ GMA to work under the same roof. Currently, producers, talent, and staff for the morning show all split their time between the studio in Times Square and offices on the Upper West Side of the city.

Michael Strahan To Return To NFL Sundays

Michael Strahan might be out of luck when it comes to getting the best dressing room. The former NFL player will be traveling a lot more in the coming weeks to help cover NFL Sundays on FOX.

Lara Spencer pointed out Michael’s upcoming travels earlier this month onΒ Good Morning America. β€œTime to go back to bi-coastal work,” Michael joked with Lara.

  1. i watch GMA every day, for George, Michael and Robin to be fighting over dressing rooms is ridiculous, they make enough money, more than a whole lot of people, grow up, get back and do your jobs, a bit petty don’t you think???? The people that fill in are good professional people but not ready for the morning show, I think the show would sink, get back to work do the job you are all being paid ( quite well) to do

  2. YOUR PEOPLE HAVE BEEN THERE WAY TO LONG SAME OLD SAME OLD. I CAN’T STAND ANY OF THEM THEY GIVE THE ATTITUDE THEIR BETTER THAN ANYONE BE AND AREN’T INTERESTED IN ANYTHING EXCEPT THEMSELVES. WE ALL LAUGH AT MICHAEL WITH HIS
    2 INCH SPACE TEETH, DUMB,
    ROBIN
SO PROUD SHE’S A LIZZARD HOW STUPID, AND LAST GEORGE HE THINKS HIS
CRAP DON’T STINK. WE’LL ALL BE GLAD WHEN THEIR GONE.
WE HAVEN’T WATCHED YOUR STATION IN YEARS SAME OLD GARBAGE………….

  3. I stopped watching GMA when David Hartman left. Everything I have seen of it since then, and the rest of ABC News, is crap and unwatchable. So, to me it matters none ar all if they switch all of them out. Something tells me it will be the same crap, just with new hosts.

  4. I am sure we don’t and won’t know the whole story behind their disagreement, nor should we. Just because they are in a popular nationwide morning show, they are entitled to some privacy. I feel bad for actors and other stars to always be scrutinized just to satisfy the public’s curiosity. I truly feel that the only people in the public eye that we all have a right to know the “relative” (not personal) information about their lives that may possibly have an effect on OUR lives. We should really know the character and values of the people who will be making choices and decisions that will have an effect on all or even just some of us. e.g. politicians, physicians and other medical professionals, teachers, and others as such.

I really enjoy all three of them, but they are not immune to disagreement and issues regarding their livelihood. I believe all three are honorable, generous, caring professionals and deserve a certain amount of privacy. Robin is a cancer survivor and a ground breaker. One of Michael’s twin daughters has been battling cancer. All three are incredibly hard workers and probably each have a lot more going on than the public will ever know. I have no doubt all three are overwhelmed with demands and expectations from the networks and their fans. Just because they are famous, they have some problems, just like the rest of us. Fame and fortune can be a huge part of their complicated baggage, putting pressureon them that we have no comprehension of. Their lives are not all wine and roses. Let them have the time, the peace and the privacy to get themselves back on track.
Personally, I hope the situation is resolved soon so I/we can enjoy seeing them on the show again, and for a long time to come.
Best of luck George, Robin and Michael. I wish you all the best and the wisdom and insight to make the right decisions for yourselves. I/we have enjoyed all of
the information and entertainment you have provided for years, and I/we miss you! πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸ™πŸ‘πŸ’–

  5. I think it’s been really obvious that Michael cannot be ‘still’ if he is talking and he is bad with the tele-prompter. I feel for the guy and keep hoping he will get help with his need to fidget. He seems to have so many jobs, surely he can be replaced a bit more often on GMA. He’s fun and funny and well-intentioned but seems to have lots of irons in the fire between his other jobs and his daughter’s health. Let him move on in peace. They have so many good hosts with Lara, Will, George and Robin and the weekend hosts.
