As the series premiere creeps closer, the network is excited to introduce the cast members to the wider public. And one is actually related to Batman actor.
Ben Affleck’s Cousins Are In The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
As Ben Affleck navigates his rumored split from Jennifer Lopez, there is another scandal rocking his family. His cousins are involved in the scandalous new reality show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
PEOPLE reports that Ben Affleck’s first cousin once removed is Zac Affleck, who plays an important role in the lusty new series. His father is first cousins with the world-renowned actor. Zac’s wife Jen is a TikTok influencer and will star in the series with the other wives.
In an official statement, 25-year-old Jen told PEOPLE that she feels “excited to talk about the things that have happened in [her] relationship.”
Over the past few years, documentaries and reality shows about the LDS church have been very popular in mainstream media. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives follows LDS families involved in a swinging sex scandal.
“It feels like we got ten years of marriage counseling in this one season of filming,” Jen Affleck added.
Can Jen and Zac keep their marriage together amid the swinging scandal? Hulu subscribers will need to tune in and see.
Jen Affleck Wants Her Social Media Followers To Tune In
Like many of the other stars, Jen has been promoting The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on social media.
“Everyone mark their calendars for Sept. 6th !! @secretlivesonhulu only on @hulu 🙈#thesecretlivesofmormonwives” she captioned a recent Instagram post.

While many Hulu subscribers will likely tune in, many have expressed their distaste for the upcoming series online. Many believe that the series makes a mockery of the LDS church’s teachings and the women don’t exhibit the values at all.
Comments on Jen’s Instagram post include:
- “A minute of fame, an eternity of regret.”
- “Not a lot of ‘garments’ (church clothing for temple) on these women. So not that much Mormon.”
- “Umm… since when do Mormon wives dress like this?? Are you even LDS?”

Ben Affleck probably won’t make an appearance on the show. However, his cousins Zac and Jen may bring him up at some point.
