Big Brother is going through yet another schedule change. The network is planning to add a special episode in the mix in the coming weeks, but fans aren’t interested. Many people said they won’t be watching or they’ll be “snoozing.” Here are the details about the upcoming special episode and why fans are upset.

What Is The Special Episode About?

The special episode will air on Tuesday, August 13. This is outside of the show’s regular Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday schedule. Julie Chen Moonves will appear in the extra episode alongside three previous winners.

Cody Calafiore, Jag Bains, and Taylor Hale will return to discuss some of the big moments from this season of Big Brother. Evidently, there will also be a new twist revealed about the AI in Season 26 during the special episode.

News about the bonus episode was shared on X and fans weren’t slow to weigh in on the debacle. “Taylor’s the only person out of this line up that people care about,” one person commented. “Jag and Cody? Won’t be watching,” a second fan chimed in. Another critic wrote, “Three most boring winners ever i’m snoozing.”

One person wondered if it was too early in Season 26 to start asking former winners back. “This season has barely started, do we really need their hot takes….? Give us a twist inside,” they wrote.

Several other people simply stated they wouldn’t be watching, while one harsh critic asked, “They couldn’t find any winners with personalities who wanted to return?”

Fans Haven’t Been Happy With Big Brother 26

This isn’t the first time CBS has changed the schedule for Big Brother this season either. As mentioned above, the show usually comes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. However, the network abruptly changed the time each episode airs.

Initially, each episode came on at 9 p.m. EST. On August 1, Wednesday and Thursday episodes started airing at 8 p.m. EST, while Sunday episodes remained at 9 p.m. The sudden switch caused many people to miss the new episode. Viewers were furious over the switch, with many taking to social media to demand a “consistent schedule.”

Fans have been going off about other things this season too. A slew of viewers took to Yelp to drag houseguest Angela Murray after seeing her bully other Big Brother cast members. Then, when Lisa was eliminated instead of Angela, some people accused the reality show of being scripted.

Others were simply angry that Angela got to stay in the house after fans caught her on the Big Brother Live Feeds mocking Lisa and calling her a “twit.” Lisa wound up in tears after her interaction with Angela.

Now, three more people are on the chopping block tonight. Tucker Des Lauriers, Kenney Kelley, and America’s Choice will go head-to-head in the AI Arena Challenge. Then two people will be put up for elimination.

See how it plays out on Big Brother tonight on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
