Former ‘DWTS’ Finalist Arrested On Possession Charges
Dancing With The Stars fans across the country were shocked today to learn that one former finalist was apprehended on possession charges this morning.
The series has featured a wide cast of celebrities over the years and many have faced charges before. But one of the more famous contestants got into some trouble in his home state.

A Former DWTS Finalist Lands In Hot Water
Many DWTS contestants learn quite a bit from the show. They make lifelong friendships, learn to dance, and take away some lifelong lessons too. But others go on to make some serious mistakes.
A competitor from Season 29 was recently arrested on possession charges in Missouri.
Many DWTS fans recall Season 29. That was Daniella Karagach‘s debut year as a pro dancer and she teamed up with rapper Nelly. Although they were the underdogs most of the season, they ultimately finished in third place.
But now, the singer is in hot water.
As Heavy reports, the State of Missouri Highway Patrol, Gaming Division at the Hollywood Casino apprehended Nelly on August 7.
“The rapper, whose real name is Cornell Haynes II, was charged with possession of a controlled substance (specifically four ecstasy pills) and not having insurance,” the publication shares, obtaining information from the police report.
Nelly is wearing a black hoodie and chain in his mugshot.
The records also report that the DWTS Season 29 finalist was taken in at 4:45 A.M. He was also arrested on charges for “for Failure to Appear on an old traffic charge out of Maryland Heights,” according to a representative from the police department, as reported by Heavy.
However, Nelly is reportedly already out of custody.

A few Reddit users pointed out that his partner, fellow singer Ashanti, his expecting his child. Without a doubt, this arrest put a lot of unnecessary stress on her. Fans hope that her pregnancy goes smoothly and she delivers a healthy baby.
