‘The Masked Singer’ Season 12 Reveals New Costumes
The Masked Singer is returning soon, and the upcoming season has released some new costumes for fans to enjoy. Season 12 will premiere on September 25, and while that is still two months away, Fox is teasing fans on what they can expect. Some things are fun (new costumes), and some have fans mad (no Nicole Scherzinger).
Here is what we know about the next season of The Masked Singer.
The Masked Singer Return Date
The Masked Singer Season 12 will premiere on Fox on September 25. There will be brand-new theme nights, some fan favorites showing up during the season, and music from some big-time stars. Also, the promos for the new season indicate there will be more clues than ever.
The biggest fun of The Masked Singer is guessing who is under the masks. The show ruined that aspect when it changed to a format where two of the three people unmasked every night. However, it changed back to the original format, and now the guessing game is back again.
According to the promos, there will be clues everywhere, including in the costumes, the song choices, the packages, and moments that happen on stage. It should make the season better than ever.
The Masked Singer’s New Costumes
The new season also has introduced some new costumes, which is always fun for the fans. Many costumes are creative and inventive, and it looks like Season 12 is no different. There will be costumes saved for the episodes, but as usual, many were introduced online.
Some of the new costumes shown in the promos include costumes that look like a peacock, buffalo, bunny slipper, purple flower, dodo bird, red bird, insect, and pirate ship. There was also teases for the new season. The Pirate Ship costume included the song “Pompeii” by Bastille, which impressed Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg.
The Masked Singer Panelists
Speaking of the panelists, they will remain the same as last season. Jenny will be joined by Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. While fans last year seemed excited to see what Ora brought to the table, many now want Nicole Scherzinger back. However, that isn’t happening.

Sadly, a lot of fans are taking it out on Rita:

However, Nicole is on a touring show and can’t make the filming dates. She has hinted she will return when her tour has ended.
