When Bravo fans first met Teresa Giudice, she was married to businessman Joe Giudice. The then-couple documented their lives on the reality show, including raising four daughters together. Viewers watched every moment of their legal battles after they were indicted on fraud charges. Teresa claimed just last month that the producers of the show were to blame for her incarceration.
Joe and Teresa Giudice both served time in prison and their marriage never recovered. They were officially divorced in 2020 after filing in 2019. But she didn’t stay single long. The firecracker reality star quickly found romance with Luis “Louie” Ruelas. The two married in August 6, 2022. They plan to celebrate their second wedding anniversary with a whirlwind trip to Europe.
Teresa Giudice Admits Husband Louie Struggle With Her Fame
Teresa Giudice shared her anniversary plans with E! News when attending an event hosted by RHONY alum Jill Zarin. She also spoke with Us Weekly about any regrets she had about bringing her husband onto the Bravo show. Louie is a polarizing figure among Bravoholics. Some think he’s great for Teresa, but others accuse him of using her for her fame and money.
But according to Teresa, her notoriety is actually very difficult on her husband. She admitted that she didn’t prepare him at all for what it’s like to date and marry a reality star.
“I feel bad for him. Poor guy had to go through people hurting him in my world. I’m sorry.”
Despite what some of her fans and co-stars think, Teresa Giudice is determined to stand by her man.
What Did He Know About The Show Before Meeting Her?
Some Bravo fans suspect that Louie targeted Teresa specifically because she’s famous. However, he told Us Weekly that he didn’t do “research” before he started appearing on the show with her.
He also threw some shade at the rest of the RHONJ cast who were missing the event. “Today is the day without any superficial people around us. So we’re good.”
The Season 14 finale is reportedly so explosive that the cast refused to get together to film a reunion. Instead, they will separately watch the final episode of the season in two groups. The RHONJ Season 14 finale airs on Sunday, August 4, with the non-reunion airing the following week.
