Kyle Cooke Responds To Hannah Berner Firing Allegations
Kyle Cooke has responded to the allegations that he was the one who got Hannah Berner fired from Summer House. Hannah was not afraid to voice her opinions about her getting let go from the show. However, Kyle was not going to stand around and not say anything about the accusations. Keep reading to find out what Kyle has to say about the situation.
Hannah Berner Gets Fired
Hannah Berner was let go at the end of Season 5. Some say she walked away on her own, while others say she got fired. Hannah confirmed that she was fired when she accused Kyle Cooke of being the one behind it. However, it also could have been for her nasty behavior on the show. She told jokes that went too far. Some of which is about the sobriety of other castmates. However, fans did not like her jokes and thought she was only coming across as a villain. Now she is a successful comedian as she has changed her joking approach.
Kyle Cooke Responds To The Allegations
Hannah accused Kyle of being the one who got her fired. She thinks it is because she did a collab with Truly Hard Seltzers. This was during a time when Loverboy was taking off. However, Kyle has responded.
“I have nothing to do with casting, I’m flattered anyone thinks I could have that kind of pull, but clearly, I don’t have any control over what Bravo does. I believe her collaboration with Truly was a year after we filmed the Season 5 reunion, so the timing doesn’t add up.”
He also wishes the two of them could reconcile things so there was no more bad blood. He did not like the way she was treating his wife, Amanda. Kyle has said he does not need an apology, but he feels as though his wife does. The two were once best friends. However, Hannah still has a podcast with Paige DeSorbo.
It seems as though Hannah thinks the reason she got fired was because she did a brand deal with another seltzer. However, Kyle put that claim to rest. He is not powerful enough in the Bravo world to decide if someone gets fired or not. He was flattered that she thought he could do that, but he could not.
