‘RHOC’ Shannon Beador Admits Humiliating DUI Confession
Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 premiered on July 11, and Shannon Beador reminds Bravo fans about her DUI in September last year. Footage from the show reveals that she admitted to her daughters how humiliated she felt after her arrest.
RHOC Star Shannon Beador Regretted Drink Driving
Real Housewives of Orange County fans felt horrified when they heard about the arrest. Drunk, she clipped a house. Then she failed to call it in, drove on, and parked. Next, she tried to act as if nothing had happened by taking her dog for a walk. Despite her efforts to look innocent, she ended up being arrested. In the end, she received a suspended sentence, and a fine, and was ordered to take an alcohol program and more.
Bravo fans heard that Shannon Beador was determined to put the DUI behind her and move on. However, that is easier said than done when filming a reality TV show. In RHOC Season 18, there’s quite a lot of information about the drunken incident. In one scene, Shannon was seen being tearful as she talked to her daughters about her moments of shame.
RHOC Star’s Humiliating Confession
Bravo fans who watched the RHOC show saw that the three daughters, Stella, Adeline, and Sophie were eating a meal when their mom decided to talk to them. Speaking with People, the reality TV star said that the girls were “shocked.” And, it seemed worse because Shannon Beador tried to set her kids a good example.
The outlet cited her as saying:
I’m a huge lecturer on never drinking and driving, and for me at my age to be setting such a poor example was just devastating. I made a horrible, horrible decision. I think about it every day, and I’m so grateful that I didn’t hurt anyone.
As for humbleness, in the scene on the Bravo show, fans heard Shannon tell her daughters how humiliated she felt. And, she apologized for what she had done. In fact, she felt bad because she missed a milestone for her one child. Maturely, they heard out their mom and accepted her apology. But, they warned her to “learn” from her mistake.
For fans of the reality TV show, it might seem that everyone is altogether too forgiving after what could have potentially been fatal. However, she did spend a lot of time thinking about her life during her course and community service. Perhaps Shannon Beador learned her lesson.
