‘Today’ Hoda Kotb And Lenny Kravitz New Couple Alert?
Jenna Bush Hager is spilling secrets about a new couple in town. She is a proud match-maker and she is pulling strings behind the scenes with Hoda Kotb and Lenny Kravitz.
Gayle King Paves The Way
While Gayle King did some of the footwork for Jenna Bush Hager, she is ready to take the credit. Jenna is working her match-making magic to get Hoda Kotb and Lenny Kravitz synced up. Almost two months ago, Gayle asked Lenny Kravitz about his dating status during a CBS Mornings interview. In May, Gayle asks Lenny, “Asking for a friend — Is there love in your life, do you have a significant other in your life?” But Jenna is lining up the cards for Hoda Kotb and Lenny to make things official.
Hoda Kotb And Lenny Kravitz New Couple Alert?
During the July 16 episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Jenna Bush Hager laid out the plan. She tells Hoda Kotb to get ready to impress. She says, “Lenny is coming here. He’s going to rock our plaza on Sept. 12.” Then, Jenna advises, “You better get your leather pants out and shine them up.” Adding to the audience, “Hoda’s gotta get her leather all shined because y’all know what I’m gonna try to do. Y’all know what I’m going to get there and try to do.” Blushing, Hoda says, “You are so bad.” Then, Jenna adds, “Bye Gayle! Bye!” Further joking, “Hey, Gayle, Lenny’s got a new woman in town.” Additionally, saying, “And her name is Hoda! Shine that leather, shine it! Let’s go down to the shoe cobbler later and shine it!”
But Hoda Kotb redirects slightly, laughing and saying, “I can’t believe you said ‘Bye, Gayle.’” So Jenna explains, “She tried to shoot her shot with him.” Furthermore, Jenna discusses how she will one-up Gayle to win over Lenny for Hoda. “But she hasn’t met me trying to shoot your shot with him,” Jenna continues the ruse. “You know what, she needed her wingman Oprah [Winfrey] in there and maybe it would have worked. But you got me and things are gonna get awkward!”
After Gayle King had asked if Lenny Kravitz had a significant other, she added, “And can I beat her a– if she is?” Then, she laughs and says, “Oops, did I say that out loud?” during the CBS Mornings interview. Catching him off guard, Lenny responds, “Wow.” Gayle emphasizes her interest by saying, “And I’m non-violent, Lenny Kravitz!”
Hoda Kotb May Have A Chance
According to Gayle King’s interview, Hoda Kotb might have a good chance. Lenny’s response to Gayle about “looking” was, “It’s hard not to look.” He reiterates, ”You know when you desire something you’re looking for it, right? But I find that when you don’t look is when you find it.” Furthermore, he admits, “And I’m at a place where I’ve said this for several years, ‘I’m ready. I’m ready. I’m ready.'” However, he confesses, “I wasn’t ready. I thought I was ready, right? But I can say that I’ve never felt how I feel now.” Then, eagerly Gayle adds, “That’s how I feel, too,” then she shakes his hands, “Here’s to us, Lenny Kravitz!”
Perhaps Hoda is just who Lenny has been looking for. And Jenna is known for her match-making ability. Additionally, she is chomping at the bit to get Hoda Kotb the right person. In May 2022, Jenna says, “Yeah, I want to set you up.” Agreeably, Hoda says, “Okay, I want to be set up.” Hoda says that Jenna knows her and she trusts her to find her a good person.
