Janelle Brown knew Kody Brown long before she became his second wife. She was married to his first wife, Meri Brown’s brother, Adam. Unfortunately, that marriage came to an end and Janelle was drawn to the polygamist lifestyle. She ultimately became Kody’s second wife with two more to follow. However, it seems that, if Kody’s father, Winn Brown had his way, Janelle would have married another one of his sons. Kody had four brothers, one now deceased, and five sisters so it is unclear who he wanted to hand Janelle off to.
This came out in the bestselling book, Becoming Sister Wives where Janelle wrote about a time in her life when she was exploring. She was also trying to get in touch with Native American culture. Therefore, she went and bought a teepee after quitting her job with the goal of living this lifestyle as long as she could. Kody’s dad had wed Janelle’s mother so he offered her a space on his ranch, knowing she could come inside any time. Winn took Janelle under his wing, wanting to find her a man. However, he hoped she would take an interest in one of his other sons.
Though Winn wanted Janelle with one of Kody Brown’s brothers, the Sister Wives star was not going to settle. It appears that she had her eyes set on Kody and this was brought up in a Reddit thread. So, what did followers have to say after seeing this?
