Kim Kardashian Reveals Salmon Sperm Injections In Face
Kim Kardashian is no stranger to doing odd things to keep up her appearance. She previously revealed she’d do just about anything if it made her look younger. Now, she has casually shared details of a salmon sperm facial she received. What were the results? Keep reading to find out.
Kim Kardashian Will Try Anything To Look Younger
The Kardashians star isn’t afraid to try anything when it comes to keeping up her youthful appearance. In fact, she said she would “eat poop” at one point if it meant she’d look younger. However, she revealed that she had, in fact, done something out of the ordinary to maintain her looks recently.
On the July 11 episode of The Kardashians, Kim spoke with her mother, Kris Jenner, about an anti-aging treatment she tried. The family was shooting their promo photos for the current season of the show.
As they were prepping for the photo shoot, Kim Kardashian casually mentioned that she got “a salmon sperm facial with salmon sperm injected into my face.”
No one seemed to know what to say to the Hulu reality series star when she revealed this information in the episode. Kim didn’t go into detail as to whether or not the treatment actually did anything for her.
Jennifer Aniston Has Also Tried Salmon Sperm Facials
She isn’t the first celebrity to undergo the unconventional anti-aging treatment either. Jennifer Aniston shared that she’d done the same thing in August 2023.
Apparently, Jen’s aesthetician got her to try the salmon sperm facial. “First of all, I said, ‘Are you serious? How do you get salmon’s sperm?’” the Friends star asked.
According to Joshua Zeichner, it’s not a new fad either. The NYC-based dermatologist said, “Salmon [semen] has been shown to improve skin, hydration, plumpness, texture, and wrinkles. The effects on the skin are thought to be due to high DNA levels. DNA is composed of amino acids, which have long been used in skin care for their hydrating and cell-renewing benefits.”

Oftentimes, the treatment is done through microneedling. This makes it possible for the sperm, which is usually in a serum, to penetrate the person’s skin. So, Kim Kardashian’s approach to anti-aging may be one of the most effective ways to actually see results.
That being said, there has been very little research done on the benefits of using salmon sperm in skincare. If you are considering getting the same treatment as Kim Kardashian, speak with your dermatologist or aesthetician before you try it out for yourself.
