There have been rumors circulating on the internet about Justin and Hailey Bieber’s relationship for years. At times, it seemed the couple was destined for failure, but they have continued to ignore what the haters have to say and live their best life. Until this week, that is. Now, divorce rumors are affecting Justin and Hailey Bieber once again. Keep reading to see what’s being said and why.
Why Did Justin & Hailey Bieber Get Married?
Last year, there were plenty of rumors regarding Justin and Hailey’s relationship. It was said that Hailey Bieber was pregnant, that the couple was splitting up, cheating rumors spread, and even whispers about why they got married in the first place.

One TikTok user theorized that they got hitched so that Justin Bieber would be able to stay in the country. Justin is originally from Canada and, apparently, his work visa was set to expire around the time they got married. Due to a number of criminal charges from 2014 that Justin pleaded guilty to, he was not able to apply for a new work visa. However, getting married to someone in the States would have made the visa unnecessary.
“And after exactly five years a green card holder through marriage — Justin – can apply for individual permanent citizenship in the US,” the TikTok user summed up the process. The couple got married in September 2018, so they have passed the five-year mark.
Several people believe that Justin asked his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez to marry him first in order to gain his citizenship. When she turned him down, he tied the knot with Hailey Bieber a few months later. However, this has never been confirmed by Selena or either of the Biebers.
Stephen Baldwin’s Cryptic Post Points To Trouble In Daughter’s Marriage
Justin and Hailey Bieber’s divorce is trending once again, and Hailey’s dad may be to blame this time around.
On February 26, Hailey Bieber’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, posted a video to Instagram asking his followers to keep the couple in their prayers. His public request for prayer comes after weeks of speculation that the couple was headed for a divorce.

Stephen Baldwin shared a clip of Justin singing a hymn in his Instagram Stories. While this kind of content isn’t what Stephen normally posts, the caption that he included is what really had eyebrows raised. “Christians, please when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them to have wisdom, protection, and to draw close to the Lord,” he wrote.
In addition to Stephen Baldwin’s cryptic post on social media, the couple has not been seen together in several weeks. Hailey Bieber attended the Super Bowl alone and the pair failed to post anything about each other on Valentine’s Day.

Who care if Hailey and Justin divorce?? They are just people. He is obviously a child still. Not everybody wants to hear about his spoiled brat ways and image. Grow up Justin. Halley, stop apologizing for him. Find a man who will appreciate you and your needs.
