Did Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird and her husband, Josh Efird purchase the home that they have been filming in? The family revealed that they do not live in the house where they film Family Crisis. It was revealed that the home Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird and her family film is essentially a prop home. That is not the house that they really live in. However, for filming, safety, and space sake, it was best that they had a dummy house. Then, in the season premiere of Family Crisis, Pumpkin’s husband, Josh Efird was talking about how they had to move again. Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson and their daughter, Ella had to temporarily share a room. Yet, viewers could not understand how they could say they moved so much when these were all just prop homes. Had they finally bought one of them?
A Reddit thread was started to discuss their living situation. The OP wrote this:
- Pumpkin and Josh’s house. They have moved a lot, I know they were just filming in that big house, but this house on the new season, did they really buy it?
This is true that they have moved but they have been pretty stable in their latest home. More so, they have allegedly trashed the rental that they live in. So, leaving will not be so easy. What did fellow Redditors have to say about their living situation:

Goals
Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird does have big goals by the end of the year, according to a follower. They shared this tidbit:
- No they live in a dump. It’s full of junk and extremely cluttered. According to her facebook, her goal is to have a 5 bed/ 3 bath by then end of the year.
This could be why she hustles so much and has started The Sisters Closet. She has faced a lot of issues as her merch has been called unoriginal. Yet, Pumpkin keeps trucking on as she really wants the luxury life and Josh even started his own business.
