Lauryn Efird aka Pumpkin has been somewhat quiet when it comes to her personal life lately. On a recent TikTok live, fans noticed something that they just couldn’t ignore. When they called the mom of four out on it, she revealed a truth she has been hiding all season.

Lauryn Efird Builds Her Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin shared that she never thought she would be a teen mom and wished she had waited. However, she had her daughter Ella and married Josh Efird. Though they had some rocky moments, with him being away at work, more was about to come. In 2019, shortly after they became newlyweds, Pumpkin’s mother, June got into trouble. Along with her boyfriend, Geno Doak, the two got heavily into drugs and ended up getting arrested. From there, she entered rehab but there was someone else to consider: June’s youngest daughter Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. Pumpkin ended up welcoming her into her home and eventually, their other sister Jessica joined the family.

Mama June got clean and sober but during all of this, Pumpkin discovered she was pregnant with her second child. They did a gender reveal and June was there to learn it was a boy. Unfortunately, she was MIA when it came to Bentley’s birth as she was breaking up with Geno. She did return shortly thereafter and noted there was enough room for her at Josh and Pumpkins. Why? They had bought a new home because their old one was too small for all of the people living in it. It was very roomy and quite lavish, actually.

A New Home, Really?

In the new house, Lauryn Efird had set up the whole downstairs so Alana could have her privacy. It was important after all she had been through especially since she was a teenager. Last week, Pumpkin, Josh, and their kids all got Covid because Mama June came by uninvited to Alana’s birthday. Yet, they each had their space and the downstairs was big enough for Alana and Jessica. Question: was it really “their” space? Josh and Pumpkin went on TikTok live and someone noticed a difference in their kitchen. It was smaller and looked a little rough.

As it turns out, this was the Efird’s real home after a fan questioned if they had moved. Apparently, WeTV had rented that big home for them as they did not want to film in their actual house. This is supposed to be real-life yet the network is taking a huge chunk of reality out of it. Keep in mind that Pumpkin just gained sole custody of Alana in April. Thus, the child support from their mom only kicked in on May 1st. There was no talk of back pay and the amount is only $800/month. Now, Pumpkin has two additional mouths to feed with her twins. Only time will tell, if anyone speaks up, on why WeTV opted to use another home.
