‘Below Deck’ Crew Says ‘RHONY’ Star Jill Zarin Was Challenging
Jill Zarin starred on Real Housewives of New York from 2008 through to 2011. In Below Deck, Season 11, Bravo fans will see a crossover between the two shows when she arrives as a guest on the vessel. Will she behave herself? Chief Stew Fraser Olender and Captain Kerry Titheradge commented on the RHONY alum. Like most guests, she can be demanding.
Jill Zarin Is Not The First Real Housewives Star On Below Deck
In 2020, Alexis Bellino and Andy Bohn from Real Housewives of Orange County joined Below Deck in season 7. Kate Chastain said “ew” about their making out and PDA all over the vessel. At the time, Captain Lee Rosbach was still in command, and he told the crew that Alexis was there to celebrate her divorce from Jim Bellino. In season 11, Captain Kerry Titheradge previously on Below Deck Adventure has a Real Housewives of New York alum.
Jill Zarin has been seen on the Bravo franchise since she left RHONY, and she appeared in Season 2 of RHUGT. At the time, there was a lot of fun and a lot of drama, as is usual with Bravo. Will Jill behave herself on Below Deck? Well, it seems that most things didn’t get out of hand. But, she wasn’t the perfect guest on the vessel.
Below Deck Cast Talk About Their Guest
InTouch Weekly reported that they spoke with Fraser Olender and Captain Kerry Titheradge about the Real Housewives of New York star. Fraser is well used to the shenanigans that their guests get up to. And, his comments seemed kind.
She’s sweet. She’s very lovely and very funny, but demanding…all guests are demanding. They’re charter guests and they’ve got their preferences and sometimes they can be frustrating. But we had a wonderful time and we had that amazing beach picnice. It was just a great trip. It was challenging, don’t get me wrong, but a great trip. It’s yachting, what do you expect?
Jill Zarin’s demanding side on Below Deck came as the RHONY star wanted a particular “ice-box” because it kept the ice the best. So. Fraser added, “We had to have a specific ice box that kind of followed wherever she went. I love it. If that’s the biggest concern, then we should [be okay].”
Meanwhile, Captain Kerry informed the outlet that Jill Zarin wasn’t the primary charter guest, but she was there as one of the guests.
