‘RHOA’ Porsha Williams Back For Season 16

Porsha Williams is coming back to the RHOA for Season 16 after taking a brief hiatus. This comes on the heels of longtime housewife, Kandi Burruss announcing her departure from the series. So, what does Porsha have to say about her return? Read on for more details.

RHOA Porsha Williams Back For Season 16

It has only been three years since Porsha Williams (now Guobadia) turned in her peach and exited the RHOA. Yet, she managed to keep her presence alive by joining in on Season 3 of RHUGT which took place in Thailand. She joined cast members from RHOM, RHOSLC, RHONY, and RHOP for a week of insanity. While there, she opened up about rumors that she took her now-husband, Simon Guobadia from his wife, Falynn Pina. She had appeared on RHOA, as well but in a friendly capacity. However, the couple had split when he and Porsha hooked up. The ladies of RHUGT had no problem with the situation, especially after seeing Porsha’s massive ring.

Now, according to People, Porsha shared the good news on her Instagram. At the same time, Bravo explained that the housewife would be a part of a lot going on with NBCUniversal. Per a statement, Rachel Smith, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content, Lifestyle and Documentaries, NBCUniversal Entertainment, had this to say:

“Porsha Williams Guobadia is a multi-hyphenate and we are fortunate to collaborate and tap into her creativity and passion through this partnership. Our audience has supported and admired Porsha as she so authentically, hilariously and vulnerably shared her life over the years and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her back to the NBCU family.”

As for Porsha Williams, she said this: “I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family. I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!” She had joined the show in Season 5 but exited and it appeared she was put on a Dorinda Medley “pause.”
