Why Isn’t A New Episode Of Love & Translation On Tonight?
Love & Translation took over the slot that Sister Wives occupied and is an interesting concept. Three men from America head to a villa with twelve women. The only catch is that these ladies do not speak any English. So, it is all about finding a new way to communicate. They quickly realize there is an element of competition in this because some can speak other love languages. It is much like 90 Day Fiance as many of those couples have only communicated via apps. They do not know what to do when they are in person and oftentimes have resorted to using a translator or translation app on their phones.
There have been some exercises to see how language really does affect communication. It has been a trial-and-error experiment. In the last episode, they were put in a situation where they used the sense of smell to aid in communicating better. Of course, this could all blow up in everyone’s faces but it appears that the ultimate goal may be to find love connections that could make it to 90 Day Fiance. Either the main show or one of the spinoffs such as Before the 90 Days or The Other Way.
Unfortunately, this week, a new episode of Love & Translation will not air for an acceptable reason. The Super Bowl is airing tonight so the show will not go on. In its place will be a repeat of the series premiere but with bonus footage, according to TLC. Fortunately, it is just a one-week break, and will return on Sunday, February 18th with an all-new episode. 90 Day Fiance is also on hiatus this week, as well.
What To Expect
When Love & Translation returns, it sounds like it will be a fun and exciting time. The couples that think they may have a spark will finally go on real dates to see if there is something more. Unfortunately, things go awry at the villa when feelings are not reciprocated. However, there is a fun lingerie party to get everyone jazzed up so it seems that they are bonding the best that they can. Hopefully, no one gets upset over lost romances and just enjoys their time.
