‘Welcome To Plathville’ Fans Beg The Plaths To Stop Making Music
While Welcome To Plathville often highlights The Plath family and their musical talents, some fans beg them to stop. However, music has been a big part of the religious family members’ upbringing. Additionally, several of the family members have continued to pursue making music as a living.
Musical Plaths
Although most of the Plath family got its start in touring with music, not everyone has kept up with the trend. During the show, Ethan Plath was known to sit down and play piano off and on or sing a bit. Seemingly he enjoys music, but he never made it into his sole career. Moreover, he chose to stick to tinkering with cars. And Micah has made his living off his looks by modeling thus far. Additionally, Isaac has been seen making strides with his piloting ventures.
However, the older girls in the family have drifted toward their musical talents. Recently, Moriah Plath let Welcome To Plathville fans know that she had more music in the works. While she receives some praise, many people criticize her work. Additionally, one group of fans suggested she start a new career. Along with Moriah, Lydia, and Hosanna have continued with their music ventures as well. However, now, some fans are suggesting the whole Plath family consider moving away from their musical roots.

On Reddit, one Welcome To Plathville fan opens a discussion saying, “Please. We beg of the Plaths to not release ANY more music. All of it is so hard to listen to. It is almost okay but they just cannot sing in tune!” Along with the initial poster, other fans gave their thoughts on the matter.
- One user pokes fun at Lydia and her religious choices, “QUICK. Someone hang this post up in the prayer closet!”
- “Should we pair them up with the Rodrigues family banshee victorian waifs band? Wait that would be un joyful caterwauling & screeching might be deemed against the Geneva convention.”
- “Truth! I love Lydia and I think she’s the most genuine and sweetest Plath but her singing/ music 🤦♀️.”

We have replaced your FAMjamBAND with paid choral professionals with the ability to sing on key and carry a tune. Hallelujah. Although your singing career is over, helping millions of viewers to realign their eardrums, you no longer have to pretend to carry a tune for anyone. Your humming is always appreciated, at church, with other congregants for a few select hymns. Noise canceling headphones have been my saving grace… God😇🤣😜😜😜.”
