‘Sister Wives’ Are The Specials Streaming Yet?
Are the Season 18 Sister Wives specials streaming on max or Discovery+ yet? They were not immediately available after airing which led many fans to cancel the streamers. So, now that the season is officially over, does that mean those who missed them can finally catch up? Read on for more details.
Sister Wives Are The Specials Streaming Yet?
Fans were up in arms when they first learned that they could not watch most of the TLC shows early. That was one of the perks of having Discovery+. Then, HBO became max and fans could stream all of their favorite TLC/Discovery shows there. Unfortunately, early viewing was taken away and that became a huge problem. Both Discovery+ and max came up under fire for taking away this special perk and then another one was removed. Sister Wives had four episodes that served as specials to take up the time between Christmas and New Year’s. It would bridge the gap between the tell-all finale and Christine Brown’s wedding special.
Unfortunately, for those who missed these specials, they could not see them on the streamers. They started to ask when they would be available as this was becoming a problem with other shows. As it turns out, TLC had to air the whole season first and then it could be on the streamers. Now with the season over, fans on Reddit asked if the specials were finally available.
- Can we stream any of the bonus content yet? I haven’t been able to watch any of it.
-
I put my MAX subscription out of it’s misery. Maybe I’ll come back in a few months.
So, currently, viewers can watch all of Season 18 of Sister Wives on max along with the tell-alls and the wedding. However, they cannot view the Talk or Look Back specials. They simply are not available there or Discovery+ but there is one place. Both episodes of the Talk Back are available to view with an Amazon Prime subscription as well as on services like Sling.
When Will They All Be There?
All of the Sister Wives episodes, including the specials, should be on the streamers at some point. Keep in mind, the wedding just aired its last part on January 14th. So, TLC may have some more time that they have to replay these episodes before releasing them to max and Discovery+. Unfortunately, this is a huge disservice to the streamers who are losing patrons left and right. In the meantime, there are ways as long as fans are willing to take time to search.
